AD PRO is the ultimate resource for learning about new developments and trends, finding inspiration, and remaining one step ahead of industry peers. Do I need a subscription to access architecturaldigest.com?

No, you do not need a subscription to read articles on AD. However if you would like to read unlimited articles, you will be asked to create an account.

Magazine Subscription

Is all of content in the AD magazine available online?

We publish a small amount of articles online per month to give you an insight into the magazine. These stories can be found at https://www.architecturaldigest.com/ To get the most access, please subscribe.

Can I subscribe to the magazine if I live outside of the US?

Yes, you can subscribe to receive AD If you live outside of the United States. Each issue may arrive up to two weeks after the cover date.

Can I buy an Architectural Digest magazine subscription as a gift?

Yes, you can select “This is a gift” on our subscriptions page.

Can I purchase a group subscription that multiple people can use?

We currently do not offer group subscriptions.

Do you offer a student or educator discount?

Yes, student and educator subscriptions are available on our subscriptions page.

When will my first issue arrive?

You will receive your first issue between three and six weeks after purchasing a magazine subscription. Each issue is published one week prior to the cover date, and most subscribers receive it a few days after publication. For subscribers outside of the United States, each issue may arrive up to two weeks after the cover date.

How can I renew my magazine subscription?

From time to time, you will receive a mailed notification regarding your subscription renewal. You can also renew online. If you have questions or need further assistance, you can contact Customer Service.

How do I change my payment information or delivery address?

Once you have logged in, payment information and delivery addresses can be changed here.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover. We also accept PayPal, Amazon Pay, and Apple Pay.

How can I cancel my magazine subscription?

You can cancel your subscription here. If you cancel your magazine subscription but are still receiving bills, please note that it takes a few days for a cancellation to become effective. Therefore, if you receive any invoices after you have canceled, please disregard them. If you have questions or need further assistance, contact Customer Service.

Can I receive a confirmation of my order, or an invoice?

Yes, our staff would be happy to send you an invoice of your receipt. After subscribing, you can expect to receive a confirmation email within 24 hours. (ADD IN CONTACT PAGE LINK)*

I purchased an AD subscription through Amazon on a Kindle. Does that provide unlimited digital access to AD?

If you purchased a magazine subscription directly from Amazon, your access is limited to print issues. If you have questions regarding your AD Kindle subscription, please call Amazon at 888-280-4331 or visit their Digital Services and Device Support page.

I purchased an AD subscription on my Nook Color Tablet. Does that provide unlimited digital access to AD?

If you purchased a subscription directly from Barnes & Noble, your access is limited to your Nook Color Tablet.

How do I get unlimited access to the magazine on my iPhone, iPad, or iPod?

If you have an active AD subscription purchased directly from architecturaldigest.com, download the AD app and select “Sign In” or create an account from the Settings screen. If you are a subscriber but do not have an AD account, please create one and link your subscription. If you do not have an active AD subscription, please subscribe for unlimited access to the magazine.

How do I get unlimited access to AD on my Nook?

If you’re already a magazine subscriber, open the Nook Bookstore and visit the AD page. Order a monthly subscription to begin a 14-day trial. (You will not be charged.) After submitting your order, check your inbox. You will receive an e-mail with instructions for redeeming your free offer as an active magazine subscriber. If you do not have an active an AD subscription, you can subscribe online or in the Nook Bookstore.

How do I get unlimited access to AD on my Android phone or tablet?

Subscribers can read AD on an Android phone or tablet via architecturaldigest.com. If you do not have an active AD subscription, you can subscribe online.

What is the AD PRO Directory?

The new AD PRO Directory connects users with interior designers, architects, and other design professionals they can hire for their next project. To learn more, visit the AD PRO Directory here. Interested in listing your own business? Find out about our membership here.

What kind of professionals can I expect to find in the AD PRO Directory?

The AD PRO Directory includes design professionals ranging from building architects to interior designers. Each professional has been reviewed and approved by AD editors. If you would like to find out more about our design professionals you can browse the Directory here.

How have you selected the professionals listed in the AD PRO Directory?

Designers build a profile for the Directory, which is submitted for review and approval by the AD editorial team. All design professionals on the Directory have paid membership fees to have their business listed.

What if there are no designers in my area?

Some design professionals are willing to work remotely, so try inquiring with businesses outside of your region if their services appeal to you. If you are looking for someone in your area, we are always looking to grow and expand our designer base, so please visit us again soon.

What should I do if I have a problem with a professional on the Directory?

If you face an issue with a listed design professional, please contact Customer Service. We will look into your report and escalate it to the correct channels. (Linking customer service directly to contact page)

Please note that any contact you make with the individuals or businesses listed in the Directory, including any products or services you obtain from them, is done so entirely at your risk, and AD shall not be liable for any damages or service defects that may be sustained by you and/or your property arising from or in connection with you engaging any individual or business from the Directory.

Account Access and Management

Why am I being asked to create an account when I access architecturaldigest.com?

Creating an account gives you access to read additional articles on our website. You will need to verify your account by email before receiving additional access.

How can I create an account for Architectural Digest? Does this include access to AD PRO?

If you already have an account with another Condé Nast brand, you will be able to use the same credentials to sign in to architecturaldigest.com.

You can access limited number of articles per month on AD PRO before being asked to become a member. After that, you will need to enroll in AD PRO membership.

How do I access the Architectural Digest app?

Magazine subscribers receive full magazine access on the Architectural Digest app at no extra charge. Not subscribed to the magazine? You can also purchase single issues within the Architectural Digest app.

How many people can be logged into my AD account at once?

Subscriptions are meant for individuals. If you are interested in sharing your subscription, we encourage you to consider a gift subscription.

How do I log in and manage my account?

You can log in and manage your account by registering here by entering your email and creating a password. This will provide you to access your account page. Your account page login information can be the same as your AD login information, as they are separate.

How do I make changes to my email address or password?

I forgot my password. How can I recover it?

If you are a magazine subscriber, you can recover your password by selecting forgot password here. For access to architecturaldigest.com, a password is not required. Log in with the email address associated with your account via a link sent directly to your email for easy access.

I tried to create a login but am seeing an error message that says my subscription is already associated with an account. What can I do?

If your subscription is already associated with an account, please sign in to that account. If you have trouble recalling which email address is associated with your subscription, please contact Customer Service.

How do I check on when my subscription expires?

Magazine subscribers can view the expiration date of their subscription (or gift subscription) via the Customer Care Portal or by contacting the Customer Service team.

How do I manage my newsletter preferences?

Visit architecturaldigest.com/newsletter/subscribe to sign up for any of our offerings, including AD PRO, AD Daily, AD Celebrity Real Estate, and Clever.

You can also unsubscribe anytime by clicking the unsubscribe link at the bottom of our newsletters. Alternatively, you can manage your email preferences in your account section. Please note that it may take up to 48 hours for your request to be processed.

Please get in touch with customer service if you have already unsubscribed and are still receiving unwelcome emails.

Payment and Cancellations

How can I cancel my magazine subscription and keep digital access only?

Please contact our Customer Service team to process a magazine subscription cancellation.

How can I receive confirmation of my magazine subscription cancellation?

Our staff would be happy to send you a confirmation of your magazine subscription cancellation. Please contact our customer service team for assistance.

I purchased a subscription to AD through the AD app. How can I cancel it?

If you subscribed through the AD app, you can cancel your subscription with Apple support or directly in the subscription settings of your Apple device. Your subscription will end on the last day of your term, and the auto-renewal of the subscription will be canceled.

When will I be charged?

Credit cards are charged as soon as your order is received. It may take up to three days for the charge to appear on your credit card statement. Before the start of each renewal, you will be emailed a reminder notice summarizing the details of your subscription and the rate you will be charged.

If I cancel my subscription, when does the cancellation go into effect?

The cancellation will be processed immediately, though you may receive one to two additional issues after ending your subscription.

I have an idea for AD. How can I submit an idea or piece?

To submit a design project for consideration, please send your submission as a PDF attachment to letters@archdigest.com with the words PROJECT SUBMISSION in the subject line. We do not consider work that has appeared elsewhere, print or digital. We read all submissions within 90 days, and will contact you if we’re interested in publishing your material. We receive many projects, and unfortunately are unable to call or email unless a project is accepted for publication. If you have not heard from us within 90 days, please assume that we will not be able to publish your project. Submissions sent by regular mail will not be returned, so please do not send original copies of your work.

All other submissions: We regret that we cannot consider unsolicited articles or other pitches at this time.

How can I contact editors or contributors?

To provide feedback on a story, please write a letter to the editor by emailing letters@archdigest.com. Architectural Digest is not able to share contributors’ direct contact information.
